    Small Dilemma...

I have been planning to mod the car this summer (heads, cam, intake, etc....) but a thought just popped into my head....would it be smarter and more cost effective to just get a new motor. the car is not gonna see the track very often ( hopefully at least once a year), it will be a street car.

anyone have any suggestions on what to get, i.e. a crate motor, LS2, etc..., or just stick with it and build what i have already.......

thanks for any suggestions or help in advance.......

motor has 30~40k (rest of car has 133000).........

been poking around and listening to what ive heard and it seems that the LQ9 block seems to be the way to go. i want this to be built right so forged is the way to go i think.......or there is the possibility of just building a 374/383........

the plan looks like it will be the LQ9........now just to pick out the guts.......forged crank, pistons, rods.........patriot has a nice head setup......LS style stage III (72cc Chamber 2.08" Intake, 1.60" Exhaust)........obviously Fast 90/90...........gonna do some more research into what is the best route to go w/ parts...........if anyone has any input itll be great.............i should be ordering the block next month then working from there.........

    thanks, Andrew
