SLP flopac yes or no ?

Hello everyone I am thinking about getting the flopac package, is it worth it or not? The price is $283 shipped. They claim up to 20 hp is this accureate or not? Thank you all very much.

Personally I'd say HECK NO... that's almost the cost of an LS6 intake, something that will make real, measureable, appreciable power. Too many people seeem to be nuts over their air intakes. Look at the 10 second cars out there and see how many have stuff like this on them...

I am not planning on doing any serious mods like cam, heads etc. any time soon, just looking for bolt ons. The car is stock with k+n filter and slp cat-back. Would the ls6 still be worth my while or no? what brand do you reccomend? GM or after market?
    thanks.

    Intakes??

Composite plastic. Strong. Less heat soak over metal.
The wieland tends to be for boosted cars.

I was unaware of that ,I was looking at them online and the ad said ls1/ls6 intake ,but maybe I miss read it, anyway do you think it would be more beneficial with or without the slp lid. Also what has to come off to get to it just the coil packs and fuel rails?

Out of that kit all you need is the lid. IMO

Yeah, it fits an LS1 or Ls6... You will need the coolant crossover lines too. just 2 bolts for the rails; all the injectors should stay in the rail if you pull them like that. It's one of those things, just jump in and you will suprise yourself at how easy it is. Just be VERY careful of the oil sender in the back, don't wanna break that off.

as noted, definitely get a lid
