The lid has nothng to do with it. Move the rear sensors to the front and the front sensors to the rear. Then, see if the code tracks it. Check to see if the wires to the sensors are chaffing on the tranny (mine were, on a little tag on the pasenger side because the connector was not clipped into the tranny crossmember when they put it together at the factory.) It's a good idea to change the all the sensors if one or two are throwing a code. Get some O2 sims. Just a few ideas for ya.

I think 99bluez gets on here and asks for help and then proceeds to tell you are wrong. I think he should go back to his stock airbox and when someone does the work for him and finds the problem like we all have been trying to do, maybe he will learn to appreciate some help from others. Elsewise, we are idiots for arguing with him.

you didn't manage to put the mas air flow sensor in backwards. Did you? That would cause some funnky stuff.

I just started to have the same problem. Took it to two different shops and had the car checked out. It boiled down to bank 1 and bank 2 sensors 2 going off. The light will go on and off which both shops said the car is fine. The second shop stated that the code is in the computer and that the computer is monitoring the code but yet air fuel ratios were within the norm. The light just went back on and ill be taking it back to the shop. If I find out anything i will keep updating.
