Silverstars...which foglight?

I just bought and installed some silverstars for low and high beam....they don't make any for the fogs though. For those with silverstars..which bulbs did you put in your fog lights? It's supposed to be pn 894....but all they have is 893's. So I bought regular 894's but am waiting to see what you guys think before I install'em.

What's the wattage on the 893's? I think the 894's are like 27 watts. The 893's may be the 37.5 watt bulbs?? If so they will get too hot and melt the housing. I know, it happened on my '97 Grand Prix. I went with the higher wattage bulbs (think they were 893?) and melted the damn housings!

not sure on the watts...but the 894's have a angled connector...893's have a straight connector...893's probably wouldn't work unless I rigged them

Maybe different! Mine were both straight connector. The higher wattage ones were also straight connector. Think the ones I got were actually for a Cadillac, and now I'm thinking they were more like 55watts. Several years ago and I don't have the GP anymore, so not sure.

Update: Whoa. . .way off. Found one of the old ones in the tool box, they were 880's. Sorry about the mix-up!
