Polo Green- 1990 Corvette
Should I buy
Here's the deal - 1999 Camaro Z-28 - Miles 122500, Automatic - Mods, 4:10's, 3500 Yank Converter, SSI Intake, Tune & Late Model Corvette Wheels. Car has T-Tops and is Pewter with Houndstooth interior, Paint & Interior are good, Tires good - Price is $6000.00 - Seems to run good - Does this sound like a good deal? Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks

I would look it over very carefully. It's obviously been raced which isn't that big of a deal but that tranny and rear would worry me if they're still stock.

Polo Green- 1990 Corvette
He started at $ 8000
He listed in the paper for 8000 - I offered 6000 - I didn't see an aftermarket transmission cooler - I'm going to get my mechanic to go over this afternoon so I guess I should ask him to finetooth comb the trans, rear, motor, brakes, steering?
Thanks

Sounds to me like concensus is pass
Sounds like its a pass at 6000. I basically agree - 122000 is a lot of miles with many hard ones I'm sure. I'll think about it and see what my mechanic says and I'll let everyone know - thanks for the replies.

It's also an auto with 410s it's not going to be highway friendly at all.

it seems like auto high mile z-28s are a dime a dozen now, go over to tech and check out their classifieds, they have a lot of cars in and around that price range

On car
Mechanic looked over and said car had many problems - brakes, brake lines incorrect, body damage, alingment, tires - said best parts of car were motor and transmission. Still looking.
Thanks
