    Question SES low EGR question

I just swaped out my LS1 intake for the LS6 which removes the EGR. My question is does the SES light affect performance at all? Also someone was saying LS1's have adaptive computers, which if i run for maybe a week or so from cold start up to operating temp it will sometime learn theres no EGR. Is that true?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Sorry man but it won't overcome the no EGR.. the light will stay on until you tune it out.

    Thats what I thought.

Any idea about the power loss? Just curious if I should get it tuned tomorrow or if its ok to wait a week or so.

    Thanks again

You'll be fine waiting to get it tuned.

the car wil run fine with no egr but the light will never go out. to properly remove the egr you need to block off the exhaust manifold and purchase a diablo sport predator.
this programmer allows you to disable the egr as well as other systems and keep the light off permanently. make sure if you do want to purchase that, the unit has the latest update; older units dont allow you to disable certain perameters such as egr,o2s,etc. the newest diablo update is 2.10 and any legitimate dealer should tell you this or they are just trying to sell you some outdated unit. good luck.

Well how much do those cost? I can go to a place called force fed here and they will charge me 350 to dyno tune and delete the EGR.

Do the dyno tune.... That way you will get the most out of your intake and all your mods.. No handheld tuner can beat a dyno tune.. and 350 isn't bad at all..
