    SES light just turned on!?!

Ok, car was fine when i drove it home yesterday but from sitting still all night all of a sudden i get an SES light when i start the car up????? Doesnt make any sense.... I do have 2 o2 simms under the car because i have a true dual with no cats but there was no light yesterday when i was driving around all day!!! There has been alot of rain lately and gigantic puddles everywhere but im not a dick and go 100mph through the puddles... i would take my time... Could it be the o2 simms?? Or could it be a problem caused by the rain??? If not what else could it be?

Also the o2 simms were working fine for 4 months with out a problem so it's not like they dont work if thats what your thinking unless one of them got affected by the water and crapped out?? possible??

How could i check to see what the problem is other then plugging it in?

My only recommendation would be for you is to scan the code, see what it is.
It is possible that one of your O2 simms is bad.

Sims can go bad - but get the code(s) read, could be something else entirely.

Post the code when you get it - shouldn't be anything too serious since it's not flashing.

dont O2 sims run on batteries? they have to generate voltage because thats what o2 sensors do.It maybe a dead battery-but it doesnt sound like you even looked under the car yet-maybe a connector came loose from the water spray or something-yeah get a free scan and take a look see and let us know what you find.

    05 Wrangler
    00 Z28 sold :-(

You can rent one at auto zone...the one over here all you do is give them your license and you can use the scanner in the parking lot...I did the same for their coolant pressure tester. There's some cheap scanners out there...i'd buy one, they're really handy.
