    SES light from car wash?

The other day I went through the car wash and all of a sudden my car was shaking and vibrating. I though it might be the wheels pushing the car. I pulled out the guys start drying my car and it does it again then the SES light starts flashing then stayed on steady. I knew it was a misfire. Is there any reason this should've happened? I just had the cat on driver side replaced from the Technical Service Bullitin letter I got from GM and did a set of Koni shocks. But why would this have anything to do with that. I know it was a misfire for sure because I then went to autozone to get scanned to make sure. Any info would be appreciated Thanks.

Water got on the plug wires/coilpack/ignition wires of some sort?? Shorted it out... Look for sparks at night jumping inside your engine bay...

I dont really recall, but i remember reading in the owner's manual that they advice not to wash your car at highpressure carwashes.

Laserwashes are what i take my car through.. they are really gentle..today is the first time i waxed my car in like 2 months due to 20 degree weather. it got up to 60 today and the t-tops are out.. but look for sparks under the hood at night...and look for loose connections...it might have just started arc ing when water got into contact with some of the wires.. if you still cant locate it .. take a spray bottle of water to the engine at night and find it that way

whens the plugs and wires been changed last?
