    SES Codes P0300 & P1153

    01 T/A with 65k miles.....

My car is currently throwing these codes and running pretty crappy. I recently changed the plugs(will change the wires soon) and that didn't help the multiple and random misfiring. I know there is something wrong with Bank 2 sensor 1...My question is: will a bad 02 sensor throw the P0300 code and cause misfiring? My predator also says "Insufficient switching". All help is greatly appreciated!!!

It very well could since sensor one is the front or first O2 which monitors fueling.

Yes it can but it could go the other also. The misfire can cause incorrect O2 readings.

Well...Changed out the 02 sensor today, fired the car up and it was running better and no Bank 2 sensor 1 code; still running choppy and misfiring a bit.

I had changed all the plugs but #8 a few weeks ago. I couldn't find my long swivel head ratchet so i wasn't able to get to it. Anyways picked another one up today changed out that plug and she's purring like a kitten again with no more p0300 code... Ended up being a combination of things...Thanks for the replies....
