Security light

The security light came on the other day while driving. The car still starts and runs fine. I changed the injectors out the other day but I can't see any relation. Will the car just stop running soon? Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

I had this problem before many years ago. There is a similiar thread about this going on, check the General Help section

I had this issue last year and I decided to make a new key. Since I started using the new key it hasn't happened anymore. I'm not saying it will solve your problem but you can try it. If you have a spare try it.

try your spare key but most likely it's a vats issue

Thanks Orion! Tried the spare key and the light is still on. I'll be ohming out my key tonight and do the bypass. Thanks again.

At 20k the key read 9.53. Had to put some in series. It was pretty finicky but I finally got it. Thanks again!
