Is it safe to drive like this?

I noticed that there is a nail in my passenger side rear tire, but its not leaking the tire pressure is right where it should be. I dont know if I will have time to get it pulled out and plugged up today but tonight I'm driving home (about 30miles). Is it safe to drive on it or should I find a way to get it fixed first?

I would find a way to get it fixed first.. that would be the time that it would heat up and blow, or come out and leave you stranded...

yeah i'm definitely gonna try. I'm just saying what if I cant? How risky is it for me to drive on it? Should I just go real slow?

it will be fine. just dont go cruising at 80 down the highway and make sure you have the correct air pressure in the tires.

just get a pair of pliers and a tire plug kit at walmart for like 5 bucks and plug it, won't take but about 5 minutes just make sure you soap the area with soapy water after you plug it to make sure there is no leaks.

My dads truck tire had a nail in it for four and a half months, and during that time we loaded the hell out of it with supplies. We had the time pinpointed due to the fact the nail was a facia(sp?) nail and is a faily specialty type nail, only one time when we could have got it.

had nail in tire for couple months and no problem, but was leaking soo every 3 days had to fill back up.

BUT DO NOT FIX IT BY USING A "PLUG". get it patched , its a lot better, and if you but stuff at belle tire every they will do it for free.

they told me " they wont plug tires, just patch"

Mines had a screw in the passenger side rear tire for a few months and I'm not worried about it.
