Except for the fact that the O2 senders that control fueling are positioned before the catalytic converters.

I would re-set the light and run it some more. May just be a residual effect of whatever went awry. Probably would not mess with the vents on the sender. If it's bad it's bad. Could be an exhaust leak throwing the code -- did the sender thread in all the way on the bung?

I borrowedd my bosses tech 2 and well thats confusing theres so much on there!!!! it will tell you whatever you want. and i did notice the 02 sensor was reading all over the place on that one side. So i'm going to buy a new one tomorrow. One problem when i took out the old one for some reason it was a bitch to get out and theres no threads its horrible i cant get the o2 in there. Anyone know what the o2 is for thread size? maybe i can buy a tap and re-thread the o2 bung. gotta figure something out dont know why it was so much of a pain in the ass to get in and out

The reading from the O2 should be bouncing all over if it is working properly -- that's how the narrowbands are. How are the STFT's (short term fuel trims) for both banks? I am guessing it is an 18mm thread. You can buy spare bungs from Jeg's and Summit for about $7 each. I keep several on hand for use in the shop.

The one that just stayed in one spot is the problem. did it just stay around 450 mV?

could be a bad sensor. Could also be a wiring problem.
