Running Rich?

I have noticed recently that after i run WOT, i begin to smell something. It smells almost like the motor is running rich. I don't know if this is bad or normal. The car has about 120k on it. No problems no noises.

Any ideas?

I have been dealing with the same issues as well. Have also noticed my gas mileage has suffered. My car has 124k and only has the bad fuel smell after WOT and cold starts.

A few suggestions that I got was the charcoal canister and the air pump being bad. Ordered the parts from a site sponsor gmpartsdirect.com and waiting to resolve.

I had a few secondary air codes to go along with my fuel smell issue and do not know if they are related.

when was the last time you replaced your fuel filter? hows the idle? your fuel pump could be taking a shit as well...
