    Running Light Weirdness

    Hey everyone,
I just came across an issue with my WS6 today.
The driver side running light (orange) is out but, when I flip the headlights on, it comes on.
Changed the bulb but, still same thing.
That turn signal side will not work but the right side works.
With the engine running, I pulled the socket to see what is going on and noticed that the socket was buzzing / vibrating.
Is it the socket? or maybe the turn signal relay itself?

Carefully check the socket for corrosion as moisture related deterioration seems to be a common issue. I believe you can purchase aftermarket pigtails at most parts stores and simply splice in a new one. Obviously, solder and shrink tube is preferred over a crimp connector. Not a bad idea to place a dab of dielectric grease on the end of the bulb before installation. If you do not find any corrosion, I would suspect a contact or wiring issue as opening the headlight would move the harness a bit and that could be your connection issue.

Ok, my thought s are it is the socket itself as their is corrosion inside it.
That is weird though as it plugs into the lens box which shows no moisture issue.

That is most likely the issue then. You could try cleaning the contacts with some emory cloth folded over the tip of a small flat blade screwdriver as a temporary fix.

Same problem here. Turned out the light housing itself on mine and couple others was cracked on top allowing water to get in. Take a good look and maybe use silicone to seal it up when you replace the pigtail.
