    rough idle at start up

I just rebuilt my ls1 and at start up the idle is around 250-500rpm. After about 10 seconds it finds normal idle. What do I need to do?

    -3" y pipe
    -37lb injectors
    -Gutted stock MAS
-LS6 oil pump and timing chain
    -LS6 intake manifold

I was thinking of doing that but the idle if fine after about 10 seconds. I will try it anyway. Anyother possible ideas?

The idle control motor might be maxing out, so that might help.

If you have access to HP Tuners, You could look at your IAC motor and see what the counts are. If I remember correctly they need to be between 45-65 at hot idle. This is directly related to your tune more then likely, and why a mail order for a cam/head swap just will not suffice usually. I bet TSP has sold hundreds of these and know what the tune should look like, but they cant nail down little problems like this. Thats where either A) tuning over email with both parties owning HPT and you owning a wideband or B) getting a decent tuner to take a look at your situation would have worked better.
