I laughed because just like you in 30 miles they were warped. I took them back to GM and said thanks but no thanks. That is when I went drilled and slotted.
It's funny because I still have the last set of warped GM rotors I pulled off that they warrantied. I also still have the last set of Bendix rotors from the parts store that they warrantied. I can't see a damn bit of difference in them. They both look like heavy stout pieces so I don't know why they warped so easy

It also doesn't explain why I can run blank rotors on 8 other cars I have, most of them much heavier than a 4th gen, and never have a problem with any of them I even run 2 other cars still with 4 wheel manual drum brakes and don't have a problem with warpage either It just boggles me.

I hve R1 concept rotor with EBC pads. No issues here. Like you I was looking for the best quality. I did some research and money comparison. I decided to go with R1 concepts not only because of a decent price but also the good reviews of LS1 owners. It all depends on how much money you are willing to spend but I shop for product quality and performance based on self experience and other people's experience with the same product.

I will not go cheap with your brake pads. EBC or Hawk performance. This is the 1st time using EBC and I'm quite happy with them. The R1 concept rotors have been great.

That's all decent mileage for rotors on those cars.

My 02 had 5 sets of front rotors on it (including the originals) before it even had 40,000 miles on it. The last couple sets were replaced within a 100 miles.

You either have to call or write to R1 Concepts to get the deals. They will negotiate the prices listed.

I got all four drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads to do the entire car for $180 shipped to my door. Couldn't beat the price anywhere else I looked.

Ya they did it for me twice for both cars several months apart. It didn't even cross my mind either until Orion told me to, I think they did the same for him. He told me to deal and they did. Very easy and quick service. Completely happy.

nothing brings the cars appeance down like rusty ass blanks and nasty unpainted rotors...
this makes the car look 10X better
seems like everytime i plan to do this...i have to spend my money else where...
but damn it this summer im getting me a C5 conversion kit if i have to jack one myself!

I got drilled/ blotted rotors off eBay for $160 shipped, EBC reds from ws6 store, then some hawk pads(reds were better), now I have some Wagner thermo's I.was trying out and love them they have lasted the longest amd stop almost as well as the EBC s and cheaper. Also got some earls stainless lines from the ws6store and they were a huge improvement in pedal feel and control. No more mush pedal. Have over 25k on the rotors and still got plenty left and the reason I chew up pads is a lot of high speed curve roads and a auto so I have to use the brakes a lot more than 6spd cars.

Ws6store has some for good prices too.

Where could I find those brake hoses. And how much they are?
I believe there are a few companies that manufacture them, I went with Russell, it is a 5 hose installation and 9 years ago I paid $109. Any aftermarket company (Jeg's, Summit, LM Performance) should carry them.
