Rev limiter
Hell all Im not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes. I have a 2000 SS with a LG motorsports G5X3 cam. Lift is 600, 610. It is with stock heads a ported tb and ls6 intake. I also have a lid and k&n and !AIR !EGR kooks headers
My question is right now its still on the stock tune and I am ordering a tune from Mad z28.com
What is a safe place to have the rev limiter raised to??
I know this cam pulls past the stock rev limiter.
I should also mention that along with the cam the lg motorsports cam kit was installed...Titanium Retainers, and Dual Valvesprings as well as valve seals. Hardened pushrodsring.
Thanks

LG motorsports does not publish the duration on some of their camshafts. The
G5X3 is one of those--Best bet would be to call them rather than guess

6800
I wouldn't spin past 6600 if I were you. I think '01 is when they got stronger rod bolts.
