You pull and send me your PCM (don't be intimidated, it's a 5 minute process) and I reprogram and return it next-day.

Skip shift mod works GREAT! It was very annoying having that thing kick in all the time.

Thanks gabel2000ta for the - on the power "chip".
Thanks edbird for the + on the skip shift "chip".
Thanks spaz for the Radio Shack tip.
To rapter34 Thanks for the input, but if I could afford a programer or a dyno tune I would not be looking into a resister mod!
Sorry to All about the plug for the frost business, was not my intention.

When I get all the stuff for my SS (headers, intake, exhaust, cam and maybe gears ) how much would a tune for that cost and to have the cags removed also?

a dyno tune can run you anywhere from 3-500 depending on where you have it done. you just have to talk to the shops in your area.

do all of the mods that you plan on doing. bolt on wise. Then get the car professionally tuned by a reputable shop. Don't use the chip. so late 80's..lol Also the skip shift is a nice feature to have
