    Replace Starter?

im getting ready to pull the starter soon since it went out on me a few weeks ago but dont know where to start. or is this the right way:
You disconnect the battery, jack the car up unbolt the starter, unplug the wires, replace solenoid?, put new starter on plug wires back up lower car back down re-connect battery and your done?
oh almost forgot while car is still jacked up check the flywheel for cracks.
does all that sound right or am i missing something?

First of all as soon as you jack up the car put jack stands under the car! !!!!!!!!!NEVER TRUST A JACK ALONE !!!!!!!!!!!

I would also suggest purchasing a starter with the solenoid to save some trouble!

    Besides that sounds alright.

have you had your starter tested? you may want to do that before replacing it.
