    Recommendations a car transport service

Hey guys....I'm possibly moving from NY to CO early next year and am starting to look into the cost moving all my crap. I'm curious has anyone had any good experiences with any companies that transport vehicles.

I've heard horror stories of dents and all types of issues people have had. I'm looking to get my TA shipped in a covered transport vehicle to keep it safe.

If any one has any recommendations let me know, thanks!

uShip.com is an awesome site for this. You set up a ship request and shippers bid on the transport job. You can specify that the car is in a closed trailer and so on. My family had a boat shipped 2,000 miles we bought in AZ.

We'll try them. Do any of you have a current recommendation that you have used with great results? We're shipping a motor in a custom crate from Northern NV to TN.

The guy we used was Mike Gettman - 602-380-6073. He did a great job for us.

If you want the best enclosed carrier, contact Horseless Carriage in Paterson,NJ. Google them for the 800 number. They are very close to your address but ship country wide. The drivers are first class and know how to load and unload precious cargo. Collector type cars is their specialty. You will want someone who regularly has cargo going across country and not mostly up & down the East coastline.

I use Intercitylines. One of the few companies that Barrett Jackson uses, people like Jay Leno etc.... Just as Red mentioned, they also specialize in hauling classic multi million dollar cars accross the country. I was using them quite frequent for many years when living in Ohio and buying classic cars out west. Then a few years ago I moved to AZ and they hauled 7 cars out here in one shot for me.
Top notch and very nice people. Couldn't be happier. I won't use anyone else.
