rebuild help
I have an 02 LS1 that I am putting in my Jeep. It is in good shape, but I want to go through it before I drop it in. I need the bolt and clearance specs on the engine. Could yall recommend a book that would help me out? Also any rebuild pointers would be appreciated.

Black- 2002 Camaro SS
when I bought my '02 camaro, I purchased the GM 3 volume service manual in a group purchase via ls1.com. From some pontiac dealership in Az I think, I don't remember. The 2nd volume is everything motor, and pretty sure will have every number listed you could want. It was like $110 shipped, it's the entire manual for the whole car though- things like brakes, transmission, lights, wiring, interior. You may be able to get just the book on the motor from a dealer parts counter, would be worth asking.

Will Handzel has a book for the LS1/LS6 engine that I think has that in it. I'll look through it and see if it does.
