    There is probably a break in the defroster grid -- look it over closely and you will most likely be able to locate the damaged area. They make repair kits, however, I have never had to use one and can not comment on how well they work.

    I have used the repair kit on my old T/A and it worked fine. It's just a conductive paint, you find the break, clean the area and paint on the conductor, they give you a little mask to keep the line straight.
