    rear seat speaker panel help

Hey guys, so my rear pass. side plastic panel keeps coming off where it connects right where the door shuts. and ill have to kind of pull it back on to have it go over the rubber piece. Here's a link showing the panel im talking about. Are there clips behind it? I havent tried to remove it to see whats behind it. Its really annoying. anyone?

The panel is only held in place by the rocker sill molding and the retainer bolt for the seat back. I was able to get mine to sit right by removing and resetting it.

There is some plastic velcro behind there that helps hold it / keep it from vibrating.

You should take it off to get a good eye on where they are. I have found that they need to be pushed REAL hard to so the velcro hooks stick together.

ok ill look into pushing it. i just didnt want to risk breaking anything before. I'll pull it so it kinda hooks onto the rubber part but it comes off after a day or so

Yep those little plastic velcro thingies are some of GMs great ideas that SUCK! I have had mine off three or four times in the last six months and it just keeps popping loose. I'm getting close to putting a few trim screws it, make it old school. I don't miss the suspension and handling of the old cars but the trim never moved or rattled. The panel comes off easy and then you will get a better understanding of how it works.

Just get some new velcro or some double sided tape.
