Rattles and bangs.
Hi everybody,
I know that F-bodies tend to have their share of rattles and bangs, (probably due to its stiff suspension and the UK's crappy roads), but I can live with them. My concern is that I might ignore something which shouldn't be ignored. Would you guys investigate and silence all the rattles or not?
There is one issue that may or may not be anything to worry about. The driver's window when fully in the down position, will sometimes rattle. Is this something that urgently needs to be done?
As always, all input welcome.

Depending on the severity of the noise, I would investigate. Check all suspension componants for tightness, exhaust piping for tightness and contact with suspension or chassis, motor and tranny mounts, ect.. I really don't experience any rattles in mine, but pretty much everything is aftermarket and adjustable. I would remove the door panel, carefully, and check the window track and window for contact with anything. One of the bolts might be slightly loose, or something fairly simple.

In addition I'd add any noise under the shifter. I had the bolt that secures the Torque Arm to the tail cone back off while on the hwy. Noise was unbearable. I thought I brook my drive shaft at first.
You can usually tell after a while what is normal and what is not.
The more I drive my cars the more I'm in tune with them.

Thanks guys, I don't think there's anything severe, but I will take a precautionary look to make sure everything is nice and tight.
