ratchet shifter
Do they make any good ratchet shifter's for auto f-bodies? i got a 01 trans am A-4 and im looking to putt in a ratchet on it but i cant seem to find them?

from what i have gathered to put one in a 4th gen use a megashifter for a 3rd gen and do some tweaking for it to fit.

yeah but i found that one two but it dont really look rite to me i want something nicer, has anybody ever done it and if so how do they like it?

The B&M ratchet shifter for a 3rd gen can be modified to fit. Shouldnt take to much work The universal shifters sit a bit higher, from what I've seen, than the 3rd gen specific B&M.

I used a B&M Megashifter in my 04 GTO.....I had to cut/ word a tab onto the cable's tranny pan mount

I thought I had pics, but couldn't find them....I have the shifter and tranny out now, so I'll try and get some more pics of the changes I made to the bracket for you....I basically cut one ear off of it, then welded it it back on to match up with the bolt holes in the pan on the 4l60e
