Rain Baffles... who needs them?
Hey all,
I'm new of course to the community and I already have some questions. I own an 02 WS6 and recently removed the rain baffle out of my hood. All I had on the brain was better flow... I didn't really look into what it was for. has anyone done the same? what has happened when you got stuck in a rain shower?

I've done this also. I've soaked my K&N air filter twice in 2 years. It has only happened when it rain really really hard and I was on the interstate. One of those times I pulled intake duct off and it and the TB were dry so I guess water didn't get past the filter. Its a little scary but so far ok.

thanks for the feed back... I haven't tried the rain yet, just been too scared. the funny thing is that I thought about getting the SLP CAI setup, but I have a feeling the same thing would happen

A under car ram air would be way more prown to hydrolock. Hit a puddle to fast and bye motor. I made a homemade version of a slp ram air and never installed it for this reason.
