I have a question because of what happen to me yesterday. I posted my rant on another thread in AG section.
The plastic thing that forces air flow up into our radiator/air box. Can it be change to say something like aluminum or 20 gage steel?
If you don't want to read the thread below, I'll tell ya' what happen, some A-hole dropped crap out of the back of his truck yesterday, along with a 10" peice of his tail pipe. That bounch under the hood, got home, jacked up this plastic scoop thing took a ding, no cracks that I can tell, Also oil pan now has a long scratch on it, but no dents or cracks thank god.

Yes, it can be replaced. I remember seeing one available, can't remember where, that was made from brushed aluminum.
