    Quick brake question

Im installing my own line lock in my car and was wondering what size the line is that comes out of the master cylinder and into the abs box? I did a search but I didnt get a really clear answer. I believe it is 1/4" but can someone verify that for me? Thanks

Well, there are 2 lines. In the old days, the larger one was usually for the rear brakes, it was 1/4. The smaller one was 3/16, it was for the fronts. I just looked at my car, the larger one looks to be 1/4 and the smaller one looks like 3/16. They could also be the metric equivalent, which is real close to the SAE sizes, and probably interchangable. Worst comes to worst, you could always put the OE line back on until you get the proper adapters. Just don't use comprssion fittings, or you're asking for a leak!

Hey has anyone had to replace the e brake release spring on a WS6? This is mounted to the rear caliper. Can these springs be purchased new any more?

I have not replaced just the spring. You talking about your '92? Probably the only way to get it would be a caliper replacement.

    Pretty sure this is correct.....
The larger front port is 12mm x 1.0 in the master cylinder and the same in the ABS. The smaller rear port is 7/16-16 in the master cylinder and 10mm x 1.0 in the ABS.

    If not, my apologies
