Wow, i would have to agree with the over priced deal, The car only books at best for around 9.5k and thats in perfect condition. If you can talk her down about 6 or 7 grand i would say go for it, that mileage is typical for the year. Personaly i would shop around and find a better deal and you might be suprised on what you can find.
As far as looking for stuff, See if they have the maint, records, Check the entire car for shifted body panels, discoloration in the body's paint, Chips, scratches, tires, brakes, exhaust, int. Just a visual inspection, Then check for Any type of leaks or any signs of work being done, I allways pull the plugs and check the wires and sometimes do a compression check. Drive it around and beat on it a bit and see how it reacts. Check all the fluids for condition. Ie if the fuel is white, chances are somethings wrong.
    just my opinion thou

I agree.....too much. I see some really sweet cars go through the forsale section here for that kinda scratch. If you're willing to spend 16k on an f-body why not keep an eye out in the forsale section here and get a much better/newer/lower mileage car for the same money.

way too much money. 98 with that many miles you can get for around 9-10k
