Questions about Firebird I am about to buy

Hey guys!! I am about to buy a Firebird and have some questions I would be grateful if someone could give me some answers!! It is a 1998 Firebird with the 3.8 V6 engine.

*It has only one tailpipe, is this correct for the model year?
*There is a light on the dashboard that says "security" that stays on all the time. Is this a major problem?
*There are no radio control on the steering wheel but has orig. radio, is this correct?
*There is no remote for unlocking/locking doors, again is this correct?

Why do you want a v6...you get all the problems of a f-body with none of the perks. A LS1 gets just as much if not better mpg so that can't be it.

The security light being on is a common problem....it happens when one of the wires on the ignition cylinder breaks causing the PASS-II system to go inop. Easy fix is to bypass the pass-II or spend a few hundred on a cylinder and reprogramming of the BCM. The wire must of broke loose when the car was running...otherwise it wouldn't even crank over. There's write ups on the bypass if you decide to buy it.

All the 6'ers have one tailpipe.

I'm pretty sure steering wheel controls was a option and not standard on firebirds...might be standards on T/A's.

Not to be too nosy but how much are you spending on this bird? Depending on how much you are spending you might find a v8 one for the same amount of money
