better i would think, plus you gt the whole polish look that most porters dont come with. the way i look at it is get a stock ported for about 100+, the PProduct one for 180, or a bbk for almost 400$

im getting the same one real soon

I would say look at a shaner tb too just to keep more choices on the table. You'd be hard pressed to find a better port/polish job out there. I was extremely impressed with mine.

I apologize in advance if this is a noobish question, but does porting the stock TB actually increase the inner diameter enough to justify doing that over purchasing an aftermarket TB or does it just smooth the lines/flow? Also, do they put in a larger butterfly or do porters not remove that much material?

As far as PP's products, I've always heard good things about them (for the price) in the Mustang world, so I would think the quality would carry over to their other products.

well said to say this was the big ? for me also... the stock TB is only 75 mm and all/any porter and only port 3mm , making it a 78, not really much for 150$

and for the buterfly they dont mess with that, they sometimes polish it but thats about it. they just make the outside bigger and fade in. thats why im also choosing the PP TB from the 80-85 mm size, polished exterior, and the 180$. thats almost 300 less then the BBK.

you can only port about 3mm before it strats going threw the casting and breaking off
