Question bout 98 Vert T/A Value (REBUILT TITLE)

As Stated it's a '98 Convertable. It is a Rebuilt title. Rebuilt because it was Stolen. Dash stripped, Top removed, front right fender has a crack from a curb (down low), Rims and tires stolen.

Car was bought at Auction 9 years ago by a friend of mine with some nice Late Model F Bodies, he's the Guy I bought my '98 WS6 that's under my Lumina. Anyways he's put the Car pretty much back to Factory. It's never been wrecked, and the Car Fax prior to it being Stolen was very Clean with minor maintenance Issues.

The Car is Red with Black interior, and Black top. No raised hood, it has the Ugly Spoiler, 17 Inch Factory WS6 Wheels from a donor, it's an A4. It Looks Clean and if you did not know the History you'd give a Lot more as I would.
I've Described it fairly, it's no Gem, but it's not Below Average either, mileage is 72,000 as shown on the Car Fax prior Oil Change.

Establishing the value of a rebuilt vehicle is difficult. Some cars are worth less than half of a non-rebuilt. It depends alot on what you plan to do with it. If you wan't to buy it to resell it soon, I wouldn't pay more than 50% of the book value and you still may take a hit.
If you want to just drive it and not worry about it. Offer as much as 70% of book.
Either way make sure you get receipts that include vin numbers of donor parts. These are neccessary to transfer a rebuilt title to some states. Its just one of the hassles that makes this car worth less.
Book value is about 10k for one in average condition with 70K miles.
