Stick with the KISS (Keep. It. Simple. Stupid.) method here, no offense intended. It the thing runs rough, first thing to think about is ignition parts like plugs and plug wire. Are you due for a tune-up?? Next thing is fuel related problems like gummed up/clogged injectors or bad gas (there seems to be a small rash of that around here lately). Need more info. Does it miss under load? Does it lack power/seem slugish? Any mods we should know about?

the only "mod" i have is i dumped it after the Y pipe, so all it does it go though the cats and out the y. my check engine light randomly goes on and off, so i took it to this place and the said the code was coming from the cats. so im guessing i have clogged cats

those codes are never that accurate especially if your using the obd2 that autozone and typical autoparts stores have, most likely your getting a code from the o2 sensor not being able to make an accurate read
