It is super easy. install the cam and timing set before you put the heads on. that way all you have to do is line up the dots on the cogs

once you have the cam in, you can install the lifters (with trays of course). make sure you use assembly lube to help prevent dry start up. if you have any specific questions let me know and i'll be more than happy to help you. If you want you i can PM you my phone number. Oh and what block are you using?

I dont know if you like working on your car but the feeling of putting together your own engine then starting it for the first time is like having a kid. rockers are fine i am using stockers with the same TSP set-up. i would buy new trays since they are a bitch to change (unless yours are close to new) TSP sold me the LS2 trays for $7 a piece. how are your pushrods?Pm sent

not unless you ordered them. The push rods go into the heads and down to the lifters. What heads will you be using?did you order new head gaskets? do you still have your LS1? if so i would start taking it apart for two reasons. 1.) because you need parts off of it. 2.) it helps you learn about where things go and how they go together. i've got some pics and stuff from when i put my stuff together that i can send you. just make sure you take it slow and always use torque specs for tightening
