I went and got some metric all thread and used 3 nuts and a stack of washers to push the pulley on, it's just much safer. Lots do it with the stock bolt, I just didn't want to risk it.
I used a powerbond pulley and after heating it in the oven and with the nuts and washer stack I had mine on in just a few minutes. It basically went right on with no trouble.

thats what i'm missing i put it in 2nd and when I was trying to loosen the bolt the pulley would turn I'll try 4th. I have the new belts and the new bolt, I havn't tried the crankshaft pulley, the bbk instructions said to start with the alternator, the car being in the higher gear is what I was missing I thought 2nd was good enough and thought there might have been more to it.
