Problems ordering GMMG ....?
I have made up my mind to buy a chambered cat-back from GMMMG. However I've tried contacting then by e-mail twice now to get some more information on ordering and shipping and after almost a week I've had no response. I don't know of any other place to purchase GMMG products so is anyone has any ideas as to where I should go from here i would appreciate it. If I wasn't clear I want GMMG and not anything else, I don't want to have to upgrade to it after buying some half-ass setup.

So stainless works is the same exhaust as gmmg? Stainless wants 840 for their chambered catback....that's too damn expensive...I don't care if it sounds awesome or not.

Nothing sounds like GMMG. I was down there last Friday and they had plenty of kits ready to ship. Getting ready to ride down and get mine in the next weeke or two.

They dont take credit cards, so I sent them a check. Just put down the year of the car and if you want the stock tips or wide tips (more $). And you should have the cat-back in a couple of weeks. This exhaust sounds so damn awesome. Get compliments all day long.

I have also tried to contact GMMG via email but no response....it is going on 3 weeks. So before i order I'll ask you guys the questions i have:
1. Is this a complete cat back...including y-pipe?
2. Does the pieces clamp together or do they need to
be welded
3. What is the warranty?
4. Lead time when ordered?
Did anybody install it yourself? If so did everything line up good?
Thanks for your help.

You can view a picture of the cat-back here
http://www.gmmginc.net/html/chamberedexhaust.html#
the GMMG setup does not include a y-pipe
as for welds/clamps im not sure does't really effect me either way though but you can call the Phone number listed on the site they're reasonable people to talk to just ask away.
As for warranty GMMG is pretty much the best of the best as far as cat-backs go, and its Stainless-steel meaning it will last longer than your car.

3. Don't remember any warranty info, but it is stainless
4. I think it was about two weeks from the time I sent the check
And yes, installed myself, on jack stands. All lined up very well, but did require a hanger tweak to get the tips level.

This wait is killing me. I ordered the GMMG cat-back 11 days ago and i still have not gotten it. It's like christmas only santa is a drunk narcoleptic and he will get there whenever he feels like it.
**Update I decided to call them and they said TODAY that they are out of cat-backs and are picking up more tomorrow and will ship it thurs. From all of th other shipping experiences that means ill get it somewhere around Mon or Tues, although this is the biggeest thing ive ever bought so it might take longer.
Iv'e gotta say though that the GMMG employees seeems like great people to deal with, BUT what are the chances that after 11 days i call on the day that theyre about to pick them up. I think they either forgot me or decided not to try and ship it out when they could of. Basically shes telling me that around every 15 days they ship out the collected orders? Seems like a damn long time to me. Then again im really impatient and really just wanna slap this on and enjoy the sound, i can't stand this quies stock. My buddys 89 I-ROC with stock exhuast and a few holes on the piping sounds better(smells pretty bad driving behind him though).

OK, got it installed on tues the day I got it. Took about an hour with me and my buddy. Sounds like pure sex, if that makes any sense. Super throaty deep and mean. Love the sound well worth the $$ and sturdy and strong as hell. Ive got 2 videos, one with just the Y-pipe and the final the day after with the GMMG on. Suprisingly it is louder and alot better sounding with the GMMG that it was with the Y-pipe only. You can hear this in the video. Now all ive got to do is fond someone who can host the videos...Also I dont know where to put the sweet GMMG emblem they sent me. I wasnt to put it on the back left of the Z28 emblem where the Bowtie used to be (removed cause it was cracked, and red on a black car) but i think itll be too rice if i do that. So im thinking of just throwing it in the engine bay with the rest of the decals ive gotten from parts. got a pretty good start to the collection around the lid and on the sides. anyone else put theirs on the exterior?
