Problems with a 3rd gen

So its my friends car, its a 1987 Camaro LT. The engine light is on and from what i could tell the car idled low, around 500 RPMS when it was in drive but when she put it in park it jumped to like 1500 RPMs and her oil preassure is a little high, i thought the general rule of thumb was around 20 PSI per 1000 rpms and her cars sitting at 35 psi at like 500 rpms. I havent popped the hood and look around or anything but i these all jumped at me as WTF kinda deals. Its a A4 car as well.

Well what should i start looking at in order to fix it?

Rotted vacuum lines coming off the throttle body, rotten or non functioning PCV valve and hosing. Thats where I would start.

Which engine does it have? Have you checked the trouble codes?

I do believe it has the 305.

Is that the TBI, TPI or was it still carbed?

Sadly i havent popped the hood on the car yet, i do believe its the TPI. Not 100% sure but i should know this weekend, im going to work on it for a while and see what i can do.
