Power Window Switch
I am on my 3rd Power Window Switch. It's the standard "rocker" type switch. Problem is, it don't rock. It'll work fine for about a month, then it won't push down anymore. If I push down EXTREMELY hard on it, it'll work. Works going up just fine, just not down. This is my 3rd switch, and at $30 a pop, it's getting expensive. The 1st two switches did the exact same thing. Any Ideas?

I'm buying the whole piece that just snaps into the door panel. It's the whole assemble with the dual rocker switches (one for driv, one for pass). I never have a prob witht the pass switch, just the driv's. Yeah it gets used more, but 3 in the last 6 months? Something else has to be going on.

I would understand if I pushed too hard, but I'm not. I've owned 12 vehicles since 1994 with power windows, and have never had a prob with them. This one is just weird and I am just confused.
My buddy here at work thinks there may be a short somewhere that could be causing the contacts in the switch to overheat and short out.
