    Power window problem!!

Ok i have 97 camaro, having a bit of problems with it . but the one im concerned about is the window it seems to go down good but when i try going back up is seems to drag and stop , so i wait awhile and it will start going up a little more and stop again it takes about 20 mins to get it up . is it the motor?

Probly or the regulator? I've replaced prob 10 of the freakin things in my SS. The whole settup is really shitty! Advance auto has them for about $60. bucks but they kinda suck to install? Just plain and simple shitty design?

Could be the motor or like the previous post, the regulator.

    Sadly now demodded :(

I'd put $$$ on it being the window motor. Every 4th gen I've owned needed a window motor replaced.

Motor, Get one from your local parts store and make sure it has a lifetime warranty, so when it goes out again it wont cost you anything to replace..

I had this problem and bought the window fix kit everyone talks about. before i could push the button and pull the window up the whole way. I put the "fix kit" in and it went down much faster as it was supposed to put doesnt go up at all now. I ripped it out and reconnected it the factory way and it still doesnt go up. Im putting in a new motor this week cuz i think i over powered the old one and fried it on its way down.

No you didn't overpower it. You can't overpower it. The motor is just shot. That "fix Kit" is awesome and works very well with a good motor.
