    Please help me!!!

I just posted on here about a week ago about symptoms of a fuel pump going bad, several members confirmed. At that point the car would still start, just had to be primed a time or two. So I just threw in a new racetronix fuel pump with the hotwire kit......really not that bad for a one person job and no lift. PRoblem is now the engine is cranking and cranking, but won't start. Double checked fuel lines and connections. Poured gas in the bucket so it wouldn't start dry, and put in ten gallons on top of that. Then I primed the pump 7 or 8 times. Still won't start. I'm getting frustrated.......anyone have any ideas???

Can you hear the pump prime when you turn the key? Have you checked your fuel pressure? How about your relay? Could just need to be primed.

The pump primes with no problem. Haven't checked the fuel pressure, don't have a gage. Wiring all looks good, how do I check if the relay is good or not?

Switch relays to see if the car will start. If the car starts when you swap relays, there's your problem.

No fuel pressure at all!! I have a feeling I'm gonna have to drop this tank again.

Welp...better to drop the tank and re-check EVERYTHING under there. Could be a loose connection or damaged wire somewhere. Better to be safe than sorry.

It is possible you have a hole in the flex hose coming out of the pump, or that the hose isn't crimped on tight.

I got ahold of Racetronix......they said for this one kit the polarity on the pump needs to be reversed, that's why it was turning on, but not pumping. Got the pump back in, but when taking out tank (which is full of gas this time), I disconnected all three wiring harnesses from the back, one from the tank and one from the rear axle look identical, any idea which one goes where?? If I can figure this out, I may get this put back together tonight. =)

Are they grey in color? One is for the rear diff. If I recall, that runs along the left side of the trans tunnel.
