    ill do what cutlass said about checking at the pcm harness and the map sensor harness tomorrow ( i work 3rd shift and am leaving shortly) if i can figure out which wire is at oin 32...or if the harness is numbered for me to test, or if i have to count, and if i have to count which way do i start counting from

    disconnect with the key off mininum or battery disconnected if you want.
    Just pull them both off until you see the red one.

    nevermind...i know what the red connector is. what would be the best way to test this wire? what setting in ohms?

    checked the ohms of that wire...and it was dead...so it has to be broken somewhere....oh JOY, this will be a pita to find

    tore the top of the motor apart again and started cutting wiring loom off, and got to looking at the map sensor plug, and the damn green signal wire fell right out! now i am off to find a new harnes, or atleast a new pin to stick in the plug

    yea the tension of the 2 outside wires were holding the middle wire in enough that it looked like it was good....found the harness on ebay for 11 bucks, so i should be alright after all of this...when its all said and done, im not touching anything under the hood for a while...i need a break...been chasing problems for over 3 weeks now

    got my map sensor harness today. spliced her in, and now FINALLY, my maro has a clean bill of health, and is service engine soon free, had a little vacuum leak from the stupid egr tube that goes into the intake, but a little rtv should fix that atleast until i remove air/egr now

    Hey, do you need that little tube that connects to the MAP sensor? mine broke when i was swapping out the from ls1 to LS6 intake manifold and i electrical taped it back together, but if its still leaking, cna it still casue the car to act irregular?

    Yes you do need it to operate the HVAC and Air Pump system (if you still have it)

    the AIR was tuned out but its still connected. its blocked off on the manifolds but everything else is hooked up still
