talk to Matt at Harris Speed Works. Click on "sponsors" at the top of the page and they have a link there. What wire is melting? Hot wire from the plug going up to the top of the tank? What year is your f-body?

I would assume that 2 pumps is just to much of a current draw for that wire. What gauge is that stuff? ~16-18 gauge? I'm sure you can beef up that harness. Talk to Matt and see what he has to say.

If you are running two pumps run two cricuits that way if on pump shorts it wont take the other with it and possiblt leave you standed, plus it will also reduce the over load on the wiring in general becuase you are spliting the draw between two circuits.
