    PLEASE HELP.....Brake Question

I took off rear rotors to paint calipers and bracket ect...Driver side went on perfect, but passenger side is a problem.....The problem is...the brake rotor wont go into place....I forced it on but then the wheel wouldnt budge... The parking brake was off and still is....is there some adjustment to release the emergency brake more...? Thanks

Check that there is slack in the cable for that side and that it is not sticking in the housing. Then remove the rotor again (yeah I know) and see what is going on. It was probably due to rust buildup on the edges of the rotor and has probably flaked off and jammed up the shoe and rotor contact area. Or it's on slightly crooked and jammed up. Either way it's got to come back off-be prepared to buy some new park brake shoes-you may have f-ed them up.

Where are the adjustments found for the cables...? Rotor is off now.....rotors are not rusted they are brand new and the parking brake shoes are mint.....I was thinkin about sanding them down a bit..... I'll see if anyone else can help before I do though
