I run Quick Trip here in Oklahoma. Never have had any issues, although I was disappointed when they made the switch to ethanol and chose not to tell anyone. The state had to pass a law that forced stations to inform us Ghetto Oklahoma...

Sarge.. by chance you know why they chose not to list the top tier list in alphabetical order? When they put this website up QT ran TONS of ads about it so I think they have some ownership or control and thats why they are at the top of the list. It does not say the list order has anything to do with the quality so it seems unfair to the guys in the middle/bottom.

Anyone have any input on Amoco fuel from BP?? I use their 93 octane "Ultimate" grade in both the LS1 and the LNF.

This was the only thing I used in my vehicles for years.

I used it in my SS religiously since I bought it, but have also tried Shell premium a few times last summer.

I've never had one issue with Amoco/BP.

Amoco is gone around here @ my end of PA. But they've always sold "white gas" since the day they called themselves a company way back when cars were still running leaded gas. I won't touch BP, for one they are usually more expensive than any other Station. Second if they did absorb Amoco, I'll bet they are'nt selling "white" gas there. Back when I ran Amoco in by old f-bodies it was excellent gas. BP? err not so much of any real difference. Thrid, their gas is more expensive than other places lol.. I know from various threads here @ the site that Exxon and Shell are considered the best fuels to use in our toys.. I got a tank full of metal shavings from Sunoco once. That ended their use with me ever again. I run Exxon and Shell exclusively. I may (if I had too) run BP in my lawn equiptment..

cmon guys, wawa regular is good enough.

but seriously. since ive been driving my dads oldsmobile, which he runs wawa cheap shit in ive been spending the extra $ and getting shell midgrade and can tell a real differance. we always trip the trip odometer whenever we fill up any of our cars. the first time i filled up it with shell it got 18 mpg on the wawa gas , the second time i filled up it had gotten 22 on the shell midgrade. easily paying the difference in cost. then i started adding sarges 2cycl oil voodoo and it went up to 25mpg.
my dad took the car to work the other day and asked what i did to it to get it to run so much smoother. i told him aside from fixing the vacuum leak i put shell midgrade with the 2cycl oil in it.

There are places here in PHX that sell 100 octane but it's ~$7/gal.

Unless your car is tuned to take advantage of the higher octane (100 vs 91) it's a waste of $$$...
