    pic of trans mount

just wondering if anyone could post a pic of their installed stock trans mount?? No rush--maybe someone could take a pic next oil change or something... want to make sure i got mine in right--never had installed one before nor actually seen one installed and the energy poly mount was being replaced. if anyone has a pic of their modified energy poly mount that would be great too--considering going back to it but i'm not sure i understand exactly what ya'll have done to make it work better. thanks!

I bought a poly mount from energy suspension... I took out the old mount and realized the poly one looked NOTHING like the one i had in the car. Turns out the existing mount was fine so i put it back in...LOL

    Just wanted to share..

The poly mount you want to purchase is the Prothane unit, it is model specific, no bumps, no plates, no bullsh*t.

thanks for the input! where would i go to look for the prothane mount? And i guess i could be more specifc about my question on the stock mount install--i wasn't sure which way was forward. The front and back look different and I believe it only fit one way, but wanted to be sure. It wasn't clear to me what the purpose of the rear bracket shape was for. Anyone know what i'm trying to ask? A pic would actually have to be with the cross member out of the way--so that may be too much trouble. Hopefully one of you knows what i'm saying without looking at it!

i just changed mine too. sorry i can't recall which way it went either. I bought my Prothane mount from summit, it was ~22 plus shipping. I can tell you this, don't torque it down two tight or you'll snap the stud bold. if you like vibrations go for it. I have another post asking about bad vibes, and i'm waiting to call the manufacturer monday.

i think the funny metal part goes towards the back. i looked at my Haynes book and can't really tell. Man those book picks are terrible, lol...

    maybe this will help
