PF44 and 46 Won't fit my new oil pan?

I am building up a LS1 crate motor, I changed from a GTO oil pan to a "F-body" oil pan PN 12558762 (updated to 12598151) I tried to move the PF44 filter from the old pan to the new one. The threads were too small. Simple, so i went out and looked in the Delco application catalogue and it showed a PF 46. I bought it and it has the same thread size as the PF44. It does not fit either. I put a caliper on the pan thread and it is a 22mm diameter vs 20mm for the filters. I looked online and can not find any other filter reference here. Does anyone have an idea of the proper filter could be for this pan?

Either of them should fit. IF it is car pan. Another suggestion might be to try a truck filter for the 6L motors. Just a thought.

The filters are the same for the car and truck. My 2004 6.0l pickup and 1999 ls1 use the same filter.

I thought the truck filter was a pf51 which will also fit the f-body pans. Something definitely sounds wrong here.

    Found the correct filter

Thanks for the input Tantre, I got a filter for an 08 H2 6.2L from NAPA. It fit perfectly. I bet the manufacturer of the pans put the wrong filter fitting on it. At least I got it to fit.
