I have an '03 LS1. I have out on a Borla exhaust & cold air kit. I've been told that headers are the next step for $ value performance. True?

Oklahoma does not do state inspections so not really. We do not have a smog test here. But when it comes down to it the car most be as from factory.

Welcome to the site, not far from me or Z28Thunder at all. Is your Vette an auto or manual tranny? If its manual, headers would definitely be next. If its an auto, stall or headers would both benefit you nicely.

I have an automatic, & we in Oklahoma don't really care about smog regulations. It's all about puttin' the hammer down out here.

BTW, I got stopped by a Hi-po a while back for, quote the police officer, "laying the hammer down". After explaining the law on headers, then telling me all about his 4x4 chevy with longtubes, he let me off with a warning Gotta love Oklahoma sometimes.

not always, i got hit for 97 in a 65 @ 0200 hrs (that was the just past the i40on ramp) in okc that was years ago tho
