    Performance Mods

I have an '03 LS1. I have out on a Borla exhaust & cold air kit. I've been told that headers are the next step for $ value performance. True?

Oklahoma does not do state inspections so not really. We do not have a smog test here. But when it comes down to it the car most be as from factory.

Welcome to the site, not far from me or Z28Thunder at all. Is your Vette an auto or manual tranny? If its manual, headers would definitely be next. If its an auto, stall or headers would both benefit you nicely.

I have an automatic, & we in Oklahoma don't really care about smog regulations. It's all about puttin' the hammer down out here.

Welcome fellow Okie. Headers are nice to have, PITA to install. But it's worth it.

BTW, I got stopped by a Hi-po a while back for, quote the police officer, "laying the hammer down". After explaining the law on headers, then telling me all about his 4x4 chevy with longtubes, he let me off with a warning Gotta love Oklahoma sometimes.

I really feel for our California brethren. All that glitters is certainly not gold. They really have no idea how good life can be. This place is about as good as it gets.

As stated above stall or LT and ORY are the next best mods.

let me know if we can help out.

For the vette the ARH headers are simple mods to do. The Kooks are a PAIN...

    Thanks,
    Mark

okc's a different beast... I live in rural Oklahoma, about 100 miles east.
