Question People keep telling me I have a brake light out.

People keep telling me that I have a brake light out, but when I stop and check them they are working fine. What plan of action should I take, I think maybe I have a bad ground causing the light to be intemittent or something along those lines.

It's a 99 Trans Am, anyone else have a problem like this?

Dunno, but first thing I'd do is replace the bulb - maybe a filament is broken and not making contact all the time.

i also have a 99 ta and have the same problem. i drove behind it and the lights worked about half the time. i was told to check the ground and check to see if the light socket itself was carroded. i also have a problem with blowing the front fog light bulbs.

yea any autoparts store, even walmart sells bulbs. as for the guy blowing his fogs. make sure you're not touching the bulb at all when you take it out of the package and put it in there. it degrades the bulb life, double check there's no moisture in the bulb and its not cracked

I've noticed on several occasions, when I've been behind '98+ Firebirds at a distance, that one tail light seemed to be out. However, after getting closer, and at a more direct "behind the car" angle, they aren't out. I think it has something to do with the honeycomb tail lights.
