If you mean the barbed end, I am pretty sure that it would be 3/8" as that should be the size hosing that you use to build a better PCV system with. This will replace the built in PCV for the factory hose but I went one step further and replaced the entire system and added a catch can for more security. Here is how I did it. before i realized the person before me destroyed all the hose connections for the pcv and map sensor and hvac control hose...i had severe fumes in the car. i think it was due to the hvac control sucking vapors idk for sure but i did the entire pcv with hose a new pcv valve, catch can and rigged my hoses all back together now my engine runs more smoothly and i have ac blowing out the front vents now lol as well no more fumes. i pulled the manifold off replaced the intake gaskets while i was at it 20 bucks.

I know this is an old thread, but I just noticed that my PCV housing is completely cracked. Does anyone have the original pictures or a link to what I need to buy? I already have a replacement valve and some 3/8" hose and clamps. I'm not exactly sure how to connect the larger end of the valve. Thanks.

Sounds like he used 1/2" hose and a brass coupling between the 1/2" and 3/8" hoses

yes shove the 3/8 into the 1/2 in hose and clamp it to secure it like this: take end of 3/8 hose and insert it into the 1/2 in hose for it to be able to connect using a hose clamp. take the fat end of the "PCV Valve" and stick it into the 1/2 hose ( tight fit) you will be able to get about a 1/4 in depth into it. clamp the hose again to the valve. then stick the 3/8 in hose to the small end and clamp it to the PCV Valve. pretty much you are replacing the valve boot with the 1/2 hose and connecting it together via the hoses and clamps. very simple.
