PCV leak???
i had to remove my intake for my knock sensor install. but then got it all together to find out that i have a low input flow on the map sensor...basically meaning i have a vacuum leak somewhere. i removed my intake again, and i do notice my intake gaskets are kinda crushed..but i removed all of the pcv hoses (from behind the throttle body to the passenger side valve cover to the drivers side valve cover. but i was thinking if say one of the 2 valve cover hoses were undone would it cause a vacuum leak big enough for the map sensor to sense it???? or would it make no difference??

no the leak has to be between the intake and PCV valve to be a vacuum leak. Any thing past that is metered air flow through the PCV valve
